More Women Becoming Corrections Officers

As the economy began to decline, the job market for correction officers became more promising, especially for women. With the job security and good pay, women have been using their communication and interpersonal skills, rather than physical force, to work with inmates of both genders. Although it is not required, those with a Criminal Justice major are highly sought out for this postion. Men are also encourage to apply for these positions too!
